On 6 October 2020, the Southern African Social Protection Experts Network (SASPEN) and the World Food Programme (WFP) will co-host the round-table “Migrant-responsive social protection: Lessons from Covid-19” discussion.
It is part of the Global e-Conference “Turning the COVID-19 crisis into an opportunity: What’s next for social protection?” organised by socialprotection.org.
The round table will discuss the impact of COVID-19 on migrants and social protection responses and consider lessons moving forward in Southern Africa, Middle East and North Africa, as well as the Latin American and Caribbean regions.
